what to expect

Nutritional therapy is tailored for each client, based on their needs. We can make a lot of progress through diet and lifestyle changes alone, but sometimes it’s necessary to dig deeper. We do that through functional lab testing, which can tell us exactly what needs to be addressed. You’ll start with an initial consultation (roughly 60-90 minutes) and recommended testing. Follow-up appointments (30-45 minutes) are done based on how much guidance or coaching you need at the time. Many clients start with weekly follow-ups for about 3 weeks, and then move to meeting every 2-3 weeks, and then graduate to meeting monthly. For your convenience, all meetings are done via telehealth through PracticeBetter.

Emilia Hart, MS, NTP, RWP

Emily discovered nutrition in her early 20s after being diagnosed with PCOS and pre-diabetes. She was given prescriptions for weight loss pills and birth control pills, which unfortunately did not help manage her health concerns. Feeling frustrated and overlooked, she started researching and discovered the powerful impact of diet on her specific conditions. Soon, she enrolled at the Nutritional Therapy Association and began learning how to manage her health concerns. She was able to turn her own health around through nutrition and lifestyle changes and is passionate about helping others like her do the same!

She received her BS from Oklahoma State University in 2007 and her NTP certification in 2014 from the Nutritional Therapy Association. She completed the Restorative Wellness Solutions training for Gastrointestinal Healing in 2019 and Hormone Balancing in 2022. She obtained her MS in applied nutrition from the University of New England in 2024.

Emilia lives with her husband Jeff, sons Branan and Oliver, and their dog Jaxie, in Norman. She loves spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, hiking, roller skating and weight lifting.
